Profile

This is an absolutely spectacular drawing. I gave 4 stars for originality simply because I have seen a lot of drawings and photographs in this stance, but her physical looks have quite unique aspects. The shading throughout her face, neck and chest area is fantastic, it adds so much depth to the drawing. There were a few places it looked realistic and a few less so, which i can respect. The jaw line could be more defined in my opinion, it's a little too soft. Another issue for me, personally, is the hair. I feel like since it's so dark there's not enough detail in some places. Then there's the strands surrounding her face, that look rather sloppy in a sense, could use maybe more time on them. Last thing, a question really, is why is her stance so stiff but her hair wild as if she whipped it forward? Is there a meaning to that?
